Lost the mayorship of a location on Foursquare? Now what?
I was sitting minding my own business, when I got the following email
foursquare :: You’ve just been ousted as the mayor of Lonestar Texas Bar and Grill!
Who would do this? What did I ever do to deserve this!!! It turns out that a certain Chelsey R was the guilty party.
Now if you end up losing the mayorship of a location on Foursquare here are some things you can do
- Fight: Go back to that location and check in, this will mean you are likely to regain the mayor-ship back, and start a Foursquare fight. This maybe important, as I mentioned in my Super Mayor post, you need to maintain 10+ mayorships and every one counts
- Let it go: Well in some cases it may not even be possible to regain it, but if you have enough locations under your belt, share the wealth
- Engage. I love twitter, oh for so many reasons, and use it to reach out to Chelsey. A few trash tweets and a few chuckles and all is well in the world. At least now when I go back to Lone Star and kick her out, I know exactly who it was the started this mess in the first place
Have you been ousted as a mayor, where was it? what are you going to do about it?
